Lincoln High School, Yonkers, New York

Thanks to Ms. Marcia Lyttle, a member of our board of directors, who is also a teacher at Lincoln High School, the principal Mr. Edwin Quezada, the teachers, and the students have started an annual walk-a-thon to raise funds for Isaka Memorial Foundation. Saturday, November 22, 2008 marked the beginning of this wonderful effort at their school in Yonkers, New York

Those who have followed our fund-raising efforts, will remember that Marcia had organized a similar event through her church, Bezer Holiness Church, in New Rochelle, New York. As mentioned, Lincoln High plans to make this an annual event, and listening to the students and their teachers, next year will be even bigger and better. Go Lancers!

During the inaugural event, with the blessings of Lincoln High School principal, Mr. Edwin Quezada, the teachers students and volunteers came out in large numbers to assist the AIDS orphans in Siaya, Kenya.
